The specifications of the mattress MED
The Mattress MED is a by Lloyd’s Register certified mattress.
The mattress, type CRD-120 marine flame retardant mattress, consist of:First layer structureOuter all round layer of stitched synthetic mattress fabric. Consisting of outer flame retardant fabric. The flame-retardant treatment method is soaking the fabric with flame retardant. The fabric weave structure is plain knit structure, the number of warp and weft per inch is 40 x 70. The warp and weft yarn are 20 x 20. The color of the fabric is blue-gray. The surface density is 180g/m2 (65% cotton and 35% polyester)Second layer structureFlame retardant sponge. The flame-retardant sponge is a foaming material that is flame-retardant, with an areal density of 30g/m2 and a thickness of 18 mm. The first and second layer make the stitched synthetic mattress fabric layer.Inner layer of high temperature sterilized feltThird layer structure. High temperature sterilized felt, color white, area density 500g/M2, thickness 0.5cm.Forth layer structureCentral steel spiral bed net, the spring wire diameter is 1.8mm. The wearing steel wire is 1.4 mm, the four sides are added with support springs. The mattress MED can be customized according to any requirement.
Every mattress is to be issued with a “Declaration of Conformity” and have the “Mark of Conformity” affixed after a conformity assessment module is in place.
